Information

With us, you can get a skydiving license with the help of our experienced instructors. With this license, you can skydive in all of Sweden and in most places in the world.

General information

All training and jumping is conducted with a 100 percent focus on safety while you can enjoy the experience of falling freely from one of Sweden’s most modern jump planes.

The course will be held over the following two weekends. The first weekend consists of theory and exercises on the ground. The second weekend we continue with exercises on the ground and also do a written and practical test. The jumps are then booked with instructors when it suits you and the weather is good.

How quickly you can get your parachute license therefore depends on the weather and your availability. In order to be allowed to start the jump, it is required that you have passed a special type of medical examination, you can read more about that here. The course starts at 09.00 on Saturday and is planned to end sometime between 15.00 and 16.00. Similar times apply for the remaining course days.

This is how an AFF course works

The courses we train in are called AFF, Accelerated FreeFall and are laid out according to the Swedish Parachute Federation’s (SFF) instructions. The courses are led by experienced instructors who make sure you are well prepared for your first jump.

The basic course is usually held over four days and is mainly held in Swedish. During these four days, we go through jumping from airplanes, free fall theory, flying and landing the parachute, packing the parachute and emergency measures such as deploying the reserve parachute.

Once you have completed these four course days, passed the theory test and have passed a medical examination, you can start making your first jump(s).

The first three jump levels of one’s training are done with two free fall instructors who hold one and can give direct feedback in the air via signs. The subsequent four levels of jumping take place only with an instructor. The course ends with three solo jumps.

Each jump level contains certain specific moments that must be completed in order to advance to the next level. After pulling your parachute, you get to practice steering and finding the right landing surface.

During the AFF course, you jump from about 4,000 meters, which gives you a free fall of almost a minute before you pull your parachute.

When you are fully approved and ready, you are a fully licensed skydiver and can skydive at dropzones all over the world. You can also further train as an instructor, wingsuit pilot, tandem pilot, compete, etc. (according to SFF regulations)

Terms
  • Gloves and ankle protection are expected to be brought by the student.
  • In the event of a failed jump, a re-jump will be charged based on actual costs for instructors etc.
  • A medical examination is required of all future jumpers in Sweden, read more here!
  • Licenses, memberships and insurances are valid for 1 calendar year.
After AFF course

Within skydiving, a number of different competitive disciplines are practiced both in Sweden and in the rest of the world. Like few other sports, it is quite possible to start skydiving at a later stage in life and still have a chance to become one of the best in the world.

Competing is not for everyone, but some practice skydiving as part of their personal development, some come to Eslöv as relaxation on the weekend and others do it simply because it’s really fun! Regardless of what your trip will look like, there are great opportunities to fulfill your goals with us.
